Arguments

epn

Numeric, e.g. \(\exp(Z \beta)\).

z

Numeric or vector, representing the covariate(s).

y

Numeric, typically \(y[j]\) in iterative algorithms.

H1

A function, the first derivative of H.

Value

A numeric value for xi1.
